Lamia 2026
The Hellenic Academy of Esthetic Dentistry is organizing a Regional Conference in Lamia on Saturday, October 3, 2026, in collaboration with the Dental Associations of Central Greece (Boeotia, Euboea, Phthiotis, and Phocis), with the aim of promoting scientific education and strengthening professional networking within the field.
This collaboration enhances regional scientific dialogue and highlights the importance of collective effort in the advancement of dentistry.
It is particularly important for high-level scientific events to take place outside major urban centers. We are offering colleagues from the regions the opportunity to actively participate without the need to travel to large cities, while at the same time strengthening the scientific cohesion of the area.
The conference topics focus on the latest developments in esthetic dentistry, minimally invasive techniques, digital smile design protocols, and the interdisciplinary management of complex cases. Our goal is to provide practical knowledge that can be directly applied in everyday clinical practice.
The conference is addressed to dentists of all specialties, young professionals wishing to further develop their skills, as well as experienced clinicians who want to stay updated on the latest scientific trends and technologies.
Participants can expect a well-organized scientific program, distinguished speakers, interactive presentations, highly interesting clinical cases, and meaningful networking opportunities. At the same time, there will be space for discussion, exchange of experiences, and professional collaboration.
We invite all colleagues to actively participate in this important scientific gathering. Continuous education is a fundamental pillar of professional development and the provision of high-quality patient care.
This invitation is addressed not only to colleagues from the prefectures organizing the conference, but also to neighboring regions and all areas of Greece, offering everyone the opportunity to experience an exciting scientific weekend combined with the wonderful hospitality of Central Greece.
I would especially like to thank everyone who contributed to this initiative: the President of the Dental Association of Lamia, Emmanouil Evdoridis, and the presidents of the other three prefectures, Konstantinos Kordatzis, Dimitrios Kalfas, and Theodoros Bagdasarian, who immediately embraced the idea; the local authorities, including Makis Prentzas (Dentist and President of the Lamia Municipal Council) and Fotis Seretis (Dentist and Governor of the 5th Health District); our sponsors; and finally the Academy’s speakers and moderators, who contributed to the creation of a highly engaging scientific program for all dentists, especially those practicing in provincial areas who remain on the front line of dental healthcare despite the many challenges they face.
Of course, such an event would not be complete without a rich social program, including a guided tour of a local winery, a visit to the beautiful Agathonos Monastery, and the opportunity to taste the local delicacies for which the Greek countryside is so well known in welcoming its guests.
On October 3, 2026, Lamia will become a reference point for esthetic dentistry, and we will be delighted to share this knowledge and experience with colleagues from all over Greece.
With appreciation,
Dimitrios Papadimitriou
President, Hellenic Academy of Esthetic Dentistry
