Dr Georgia Pozidi was born in Heraklion, Crete, Greece. She received her undergraduate degree in Dentistry (DDS) in 2012 from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In 2019, she obtained her Master’s degree (MSc) in Prosthodontics from the same University. She has been a scholar of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (“A. Papadakis” legacy) and the State Scholarships Foundation during her pre- and post-graduate studies, respectively. In 2019 she received an award of excellence by the Greek Prosthodontic Society for her MSc thesis, entitled “In vitro investigation of the effect of different polishing protocols on the surface topography of zirconia implant abutments”. Since 2017, she has been practicing dentistry as a Prosthodontist in a private dental clinic. She lectures nationally, focusing mainly on intraoral scanning techniques and digital protocols for the prosthetic rehabilitation of patients. She has also published papers in Greek and international peer-reviewed journals.
