Successful long-term outcomes in oral implantology rely on a solid treatment plan and the application of rational surgical and prosthetic concepts. In implant dentistry the digital transition is adequately integrated by guided implantology; accuracy and predictability highlights digital implantology as an indispensable instrument for the contemporary dental practice. This lecture focuses on reproducible digital implant concepts for optimal surgical and prosthetic long-term results.

During the Hands On session participants will be given the opportunity to perform simulated Bego Semados implant placement in a printed jaw, using the Bego special surgical implant tray designed for guided surgery and a corresponding guide. Additionally, participants will be instructed on utilizing scan posts and performing scanning of a posterior implant with the Planmeca Emerald scanner. The single implant crown design workflow will be described step by step in the Romexis software.
